Brian Atkins – Founder and President
Founder and President Brian Atkins has established himself as one of the most reliable and trustworthy players in the agribusiness in a career that spans more than four decades. After founding and selling a series of profitable businesses, Brian leveraged his deep knowledge of Canada’s agricultural landscape to create Western Transloading Corporation — now known as WTC Group. Brian’s ethics, demeanour and years of experience have been fundamental in crafting what WTC Group is today and where it’s headed in the future.
Jordan Atkins – Vice President
Jordan has spent more time in and around WTC Group than any other employee, save for his father. He spent his childhood summers sweeping the yard, chucking bags of grain, and responding to virtually any other operational need under the sun. For the past several years, he has spearheaded the technological and operational efficiencies that have helped WTC grow into the well-oiled machine it is today.
Ravin Davoudi – Director of Freight Solutions
Ravin is a seasoned logistics professional with more than 17 years of international experience in inbound and outbound logistics. He is an entrepreneur who helped found and grow two profitable freight forwarding business operations throughout Europe and the Middle East. Ravin joined WTC Group at an inflection point in the company’s growth and has quickly become an invaluable asset to the organization.
Jaswinder Saroya – Director of Operations
One of the newest additions to the WTC family, Jaswinder manages one of the newest and most dynamic WTC terminals. After working with HBC for nearly 30 years, Jaswinder has already made his mark on the organization, helping WTC expand into new commodities and industries. Jaswinder is also a dedicated gardener, family man, and volunteer, spending his spare time helping students and those in need through his local temple.
Michael Liddle – Director of Human Resources
Michael Liddle joined WTC in February 2021 and has quickly left his mark on the organization. As Human Resources manager, Michael plays a crucial role in WTC’s growth trajectory, spanning multiple terminals and hundreds of employees. He has embraced and amplified WTC’s workplace culture based on friendliness, generosity, and integrity. Mr. Liddle spends his off hours woodworking, exploring the great outdoors, and spending time with friends.
Dipesh Parekh - Director of Research and Development
Dipesh brings with him a wide range of technical skills and a breadth of work experience. Born and raised in Vancouver, Dipesh has made career stops as CTO and Project Manager for both startups and large companies, in addition to consultancy work at multinationals like Pfizer and Deutsche Bank.
Amardeep Bhinder – Trucking Manager
Amardeep is a seasoned logistics and trucking veteran, with stops at Evergreen Shipping and KTL Trucking before arriving at WTC Group in 2020. A graduate of Centennial College in the Business Accounting department, Amardeep has laid down roots in Vancouver with stops in Toronto and India before that. A lifelong learner, Amardeep brings a ton of knowledge and expertise to the leadership team.
